Name Design Post

To start off our shape unit in Principles of Design as a class we were tasked with creating a graffiti-style art piece of our name. Using a bubble letter font that we liked we had to fit at least 5 letters of our name onto a piece of paper creating a design that was different for everyone. From there were had to pick three colors and create a “wave effect” by shading dark towards the top of the name and shade out until the next color started.  This project took me a while to do because I had 8 letters that I needed to fit into a small area while also keeping it straight and bold enough so the color was able to be seen. After 3 tries using different styles of bubble letters, I am really proud of how it turned out
